Songs of The Cree Nation Native American Pow Wow The Cree Nation are people strong in culture tradition and language, a people inhabiting the West Central part of Canada. The pow wow recording entitled "Songs of the Cree Nation” is compilation of five groups including Pipestone Creek, Star Blanket Juniors, Walking Buffalo, Fly-In-Eagle and Wildhorse. Recorded live at the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College Pow Wow 1997, this recording was a finalist in the 1998 Native American Music Awards, the category was for Best Compilation.
